Multi-life LTC Incentive Program!
Summer 2011
- Extra Reward Points for all new Multi-life LTC cases* - available to all LifeSecure agents
- $500 'First-Case' Cash Award for any agent selling their first LifeSecure Multi-life LTC case*
* Rules and Qualification Period Requirements:
Qualifying Multi-life LTC cases must be submitted to LifeSecure between July 1 and September 30, 2011, using the Multi-life Group Pre-qualification and Portal Setup Form found within the Agent Portal. Only submitted/approved premium through December 31, 2011 will count toward the Extra Reward Points offer.
For a Multi-life LTC case to qualify for either of the incentives noted above, the case MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Submitted and approved applications from at least 3 employer-paid employees in cases that include employer contribution; or
- Submitted applications from at least 10 employees in voluntary (employee-pay-all) cases.
To qualify for the $500 'First-Case' Cash Award, an agent must submit his/her very first Multi-life LTC group with LifeSecure Insurance Company. A qualifying new case may originate from a newly appointed agent who is submitting his/her first Multi-life LTC case, or from an agent who has been previously appointed with LifeSecure and submitting his/her first Multi-life LTC case ever with LifeSecure. Such first cases must meet the minimum requirements above and be submitted during the qualification period noted above.
LifeSecure Insurance Company retains the right to not pay the full award amount (points and/or dollars), or to recoup cash award payout amounts from future commissions in certain unique, special circumstances - such as a group case cancels or lapses within a short timeframe (e.g., no real intent to pay employer premiums, or where a case falls below the minimum requirements due to an abnormal volume of free-looks or short-term lapses).

- On-line Multi-life Proposal Tool - Enhancement
Our multi-life proposal tool allows you customize proposals for your employer and association prospects with various plan design options by uploading/entering the group's census. As always, you can save your final proposal output in a PDF format. But, now you can save your proposal census data - allowing you to retrieve and modify a proposal at a later date.
- Commission Statement Notifications
Commission statements are now available on-line. LifeSecure will send an email notification whenever a statement is posted in your Agent portal.
- Notifications for Your LTC Business
Emails will be sent notifying you of changes to the status of your submitted applications. This makes it easier for you to know when an application has additional underwriting requirements, is approved, or when a policy is denied or terminated.

What do Agents Want to Know? 
Below are answers to some of the most commonly asked questions from LifeSecure's agents.
Q. How do I obtain sales & marketing materials? A. LifeSecure materials are available on-line at www.YourLifeSecure.com in your Agent portal under the Resources tab. Select PDF Library to download/print agent guides, forms, applications and marketing materials 24/7. You can also order limited quantities of printed materials for certain items by selecting Sales Materials.
Q. How does LifeSecure's 90-Day Benefit Wait Period for LTCi work? A. The Benefit Wait Period is similar to an elimination period - it is the number of days a policyholder must remain chronically ill before benefits are payable. The Benefit Wait Period must be met only once during a policyholder's lifetime. For example, if Jane begins her 90-day Benefit Wait Period and recovers her health after only 60 days, those 60 days are banked for the future. Three years later, if Jane becomes chronically ill again, she would only need to wait 30 calendar days (not service days) for her LTCi benefits to become payable. Jane does not have to receive licensed long term care services in order to satisfy her Benefit Wait Period. This is often the case with Alzheimer's disease and irreversible dementia, where patients are typically cared for by a spouse or close family member during the beginning stages.
Q. Will my continuing education (CE) credits for Life & Health satisfy my LTC CE requirements? A. Many states require long term care training in addition to the CE training needed to maintain a Life & Health license. Each state's Department of Insurance (DOI) sets its own training requirements. Contact your CE provider or the state where you intend to sell LTC for questions or additional information regarding training requirements.
Q. How does a Group Administrator gain access to the web portal for member information? A. Each multi-life group is prequalified by the agent and a LifeSecure Sales Consultant. Once a group has been approved, an e-mail is sent to the group administer, providing instructions how to gain access into the group's portal. Group administrators appreciate LifeSecure's 24/7 on-line access. The portal allows them to monitor their company's enrollment, billing and product information and provides other useful links and information as well.
