Recently, InvestmentNews published a list of the most expensive states for assisted living - a link is here http://www.investmentnews.com/gallery/20120125/FREE/125009999/PH .
Interesting how some of the higher costs states for assisted living are not the same as for nursing home. Are cost surveys based on states useful, or should we look at the cost of care based on lifestyle?
With the trend towards assisted living, shouldn't people be designing plans around assisted living or home care costs as opposed to assisted living costs? What do you think?
Who it seems that a lot of the states the located on the east coast! With the exception of Hawaii at number 2 but I wouldn't mind paying that cost for such a beautiful location.
